Cybex Steppers Error Codes Description

Models: Climbmax 1000/2000/3000 and 400S, 500S, 700S, 800S Steppers
Probable Cause
An error 5 on the Tectrix Climbmax model 1000 as well as Cybex stepper models 400S and 500S indicates the following:
a) Test switch is in test mode.
b) Possible cut in display cable.
Corrective Action
a) Adjust test switch.
b) Inspect display cable; replace cable if necessary.
Error6
Models: Climbmax 1000/2000/3000 and 400S, 500S, 700S, 800S, Steppers
Probable Cause
An error 6 displayed on the Cybex stepper models 400s and 500s as well as Tectrix Climbmax models 1000 indicates No Brake.
Corrective Action
a) Adjust the slack switch.
b) Replace the motor.

Models: Climbmax 1000, 400S, 500S Steppers
Probable Cause
An error 7 seen on the Cybex/Tectrix stepper models 400s, 500s and Climbmax 1000 indicates a speed problem. Possible causes for the error 7 are the following:
a) Faulty RPM sensor
b) Faulty RPM disk
Corrective Action
a) Check the RPM sensor; Replace if necessary.
b) Check the RPM disk; Replace if necessary.
